MANCHESTER AIRPORT TRANSFERS    Detour due to extreme weather - fuel surcharge

Our quotes for Manchester Airport are based on trips over the (A628) Woodhead Pass. If for any reason this road is closed we travel through Holmefirth so there is no extra cost. Recently this has been impassable due to the extreme weather conditions therefore we are forced to travelling over the M62 motorway.

This route is longer by 25 minutes when traffic is good. The M62 route is also 28miles extra distance each way (56miles in total) this means we use 2 gallon more fuel. (at £4.95 a Gallon and rising)

We will have to add the cost of this fuel (£10.00 each way) to the total cost of your transfer if we are forced to use the M62 route.
